Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the website https://oakley-firearms.co.uk (the “Site”) operated by Oakley Firearms Ltd (“us,” “we,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Site.

 

1. Account Creation and Eligibility

 

 

1.1 Minimum Age Requirement

 

You must be at least 18 years old to register an account on this Site or place an order. By creating an account, you warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

 

1.2 Account Termination

 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Site if:

  • You breach any of these Terms.

  • We suspect fraudulent activity.

  • We have concerns regarding your legal entitlement to possess or purchase firearms, including issues related to your relevant certificates.

  • Your behaviour is abusive or disruptive.

 

2. Conditions of Sale and Legal Compliance

 

 

2.1 Regulated Products (Firearms & Shotguns)

 

All sales of regulated products, including Section 1 Firearms/Rifles and Section 2 Shotguns, are strictly subject to UK law, including the Firearms Act 1968 (as amended).

 

2.2 Proof of Entitlement (Licensing)

 

For any regulated product purchase, you are required to provide proof of legal entitlement (a valid Firearm Certificate (FAC) or Shotgun Certificate (SGC)) during the order process. This is done via a secure document upload using iDenfy or another specified verification method. We reserve the right to verify this documentation with the relevant police authority.

 

2.3 Product Collection and Delivery

 

All regulated products must be handled via one of the following methods, as dictated by UK law:

  • Collect in Person: The customer must collect the product directly from Oakley Firearms Ltd, presenting the original, valid FAC/SGC for inspection and relevant entries.

  • Shop Delivered: The product will be delivered directly by our staff only after the required documentation (FAC/SGC) has been verified and all legal requirements for the transfer have been met.

 

2.4 Pricing

 

All prices listed on the Site are subject to change without notice prior to the final processing of your payment. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before an order is finalised.

 

2.5 Services

 

In addition to products, we offer services, including gun storage. Terms and conditions specific to these services will be outlined in a separate agreement at the time of booking.

 

3. Order Fulfilment, Returns, and Liability

 

 

3.1 Order Acceptance

 

Your order confirmation email is an acknowledgement that we have received your order, but it does not constitute legal acceptance. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract occurs only when we confirm that the product has been dispatched, or, in the case of regulated products, when the transfer of ownership is legally completed.

 

3.2 Returns Policy (Non-Regulated Items)

 

We offer a limited right of return for most non-regulated products:

  • Time Window: You may return the product within 7 days of delivery.

  • Conditions: The product must be unused and in its original packaging with all original seals intact.

  • Exclusions: This policy does not apply to any regulated firearms, shotguns, or ammunition, the return of which must be handled on a case-by-case basis under strict legal guidelines.

 

3.3 Shipping and Transfer

 

We operate on a Store Delivered or Store Collection Only basis. We do not offer international shipping outside of the United Kingdom.

 

4. Content and Intellectual Property

 

 

4.1 Ownership

 

The Site and its original content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all text, graphics, logos, images, and code) are and will remain the exclusive property of Oakley Firearms Ltd and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

 

4.2 User-Submitted Content (Reviews)

 

When you submit any content to the Site, including product reviews or comments, you agree that Oakley Firearms Ltd becomes the exclusive owner of that content. This grants us the right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media. You waive any moral rights you may have in that content.

 

5. Limitation of Liability and Governing Law

 

 

5.1 Disclaimer

 

We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of product descriptions and information. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on the Site is complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

 

5.2 Governing Law

 

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales to resolve any legal matter arising from the use of the Site.

 

6. Changes to These Terms

 

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Site after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
