What We Collect

When you create an account or reserve an item, we collect your name, email, phone number, and — where relevant to what you're reserving — your certificate type, number and expiry date. We collect certificate details because we're legally required to verify them before certain items can be sold, not for any other purpose.

Why We Collect It

To create and manage your account, hold and fulfil your reservations, verify certificate requirements ahead of collection, and contact you about your reservations. If you opt in, we'll also use your email to send updates about new stock and offers — you can opt out at any time from your account.

Who Sees It

Your details are used by Oakley Firearms only. We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing. We don't take payment online, so no payment processor ever holds your card details on our behalf.

How Long We Keep It

We keep account and reservation records for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards where we're required to retain sales records for legal or regulatory reasons relevant to firearms dealing.

Your Rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Get in touch via our contact page or email sales@oakley-firearms.co.uk to make a request.
